Former Cal State Bakersfield women’s soccer player Catalina Roggerone assisted Argentina to qualify for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
Roggerone has been competing in the CONMEBOL Nations League Women’s tournament which determines the teams from South America that will go to the Women’s World Cup.
She has played seven matches for La Albiceste, three of which she played all 90 minutes, totaling 439 minutes on the pitch. She also played 60 minutes on the pitch against Colombia, 20th ranked squad in the world.
This will be her first career Women’s World Cup after competing in the 2024 Gold Cup and the 2025 Copa America.
