Cal State Bakersfield’s International Students and Programs department teamed up with the Global Bridge club to host a karaoke night in celebration of International Education Week. This was just one of the many events planned for the week. International Education Week is a global celebration that celebrates international education and cross-cultural understanding within the global community. The karaoke night was hosted in the Stockdale Room inside of The Runner Cafe. Many students and some faculty members showed up to enjoy a fun night of karaoke with their friends. The hosts provided snacks, beverages, props, and a photo backdrop for students to enjoy. The fun lasted two hours and almost every student who showed up sang a song. Students sang songs of all genres and some even sang in different languages, creating a truly diverse and welcoming environment.
