On Nov. 25, 2025, The Runners’ Converge Team held the Converge Issue 7 launch party at Fredo’s Pizza in Downtown Bakersfield. Delicious slices of pizza were featured, such as the pistachio pizza and margarita pizza. After everyone finished their pizzas, Converge Editor-in-Chief Angela Torres and Advisor Bianca Moreno announced the grand opening of the Converge Issue 7, “Culture and Nostalgia” edition. As she unveiled the Converge Issue 7 magazine, everyone got up and quickly grabbed their magazines. The initial reactions were positive, satisfied, and pleased with the magazine’s outcome.
“I really like the layout and content for my page,” said Jaskarn Singh.
“Really ecstatic and surprised it was cool seeing their vision come to life and being able to be a part of that too” said Nso Ifemeje.
“I wasn’t sure at when I first sent it off to print but once I saw my teams and source’s reaction to the final product, I was more than happy.” said Angela Torres.
The Converge Issue 7 launch party was a major success, as the Converge team will release the magazines on Decemeber 1st.
