On May 13, California State University, Bakersfield honored the Black graduates inside the Icardo Center.  

This ceremony was put on to shine a light on the Black graduates of CSUB. 

They had many accomplished speakers who gave insightful advice to the graduates of 2023 and gave out awards such as the Community Service award and Cornerstone award.
