The LGBTQ network at CSUB hosted its first queer prom after the Covid pandemic.

The theme was 1950’s Hollywood and Masquerade Ball. The reason why they decided to have the element of masquerade was to help protect the identities of those who were not conformable, or able, to be out.  Any students were still encouraged to wear a mask regardless of sexual identity.

The LGBTQ network also included Jersey Mikes sandwiches, drinks and a free photo booth for students to enjoy.

CSUB students had an opportunity to have a safe space where they could dance freely, knowing everyone will support them.
