CSUB to partner with BPD to host community events discussing police reform

CSU Bakersfield will be collaborating with the Bakersfield Police Department- Community Collaborative to host a series of “Listening Sessions,” in which community members can provide their input on police reform.  

The sessions will be facilitated by community leaders. 

These conversations will be held as a series of live streams starting on Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.  

There will be a second session on Nov. 7 at 12 p.m. and a third and final session on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.    

Each event will be open to the public and attendees are encouraged to speak at any of the sessions 

All of the available sessions will be accessible through Zoom.
