Virtual graduation will be an option for students that have recently graduated. Students that have graduated in the fall and spring 2020, and students who are graduating this year have received a commencement survey via email to provide feedback for their likelihood of having a virtual graduation, or an in-person ceremony and a drive-thru photo stag

Dina Ebeling, associate director of the commencement office reminded students of the surveys in a recent Associated Students Inc. meeting. Ebeling said she plans to host a virtual graduation that will not replace the in-person graduation, but will serve to recognize the recent and future graduates for the time being. The deadline for students to complete the survey is March 17.

During this week’s ASI meeting, that took place on March 5, Campus Programming reminded that the Ethic’s Bowl will take place on March 16 and the deadline to apply for that is March 9. Students can sign up with teams or individually and they will be added to a team on the day of the event.

On March 18, students will be able to paint during Expression Night, anyone who participated in the last paint night and has a left-over paint kit can use it. A link to sign up and for the actual event will be posted on their link tree. Runner Nights will be on the week of March 19 and it will be a week-long event where each day will be a different genre.

There are also three positions open for Campus Programming team members who are interested in assisting as a photographer, videographer, and a graphic designer. Applications will be open next week until the end of spring break.

Edward Webb, a member of the Student Union and Organization Governance, reported that they attended the virtual ACUI conference. On April 1, club registration for the fall 2021 will open, and the virtual club fair has been moved to April 7. Best Week Ever returns on March 15 through March 19.
