Jocelynn Landon, Editor-in-Chief of The Runner, led innovative reporting projects and strategic marketing initiatives. She is currently overseeing the 50th-anniversary anniversary, organizing events such as a gallery exhibit and Anniversary Gala to celebrate the publication’s history. Jocelynn has secured funding through grant writing, and advertisements. As a features editor she spearheaded “Runners Around Kern,” a reporting initiative focused on rural Kern County, and during her time as photo and art director she ensured that the website had weekly photo galleries. Her commitment to quality journalism earned her a state award for photography, enhancing The Runner’s visual storytelling.
