Alternative band, SomeKindaWonderful, to play at B Ryders

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, look no further. KRAB Radio will be hosting a show with alternative band, SomeKindaWonderful at B Ryders this Friday, Aug.1. This band is certainly making a name for themselves and will be a show you don’t want to miss. 

SomeKindaWonderful’s current single, “Reverse,” has been getting plenty of airplay around the country, including Bakersfield’s KRAB Radio. 

“Reverse” has more than two million streams on Spotify, Pandora and Soundcloud, has landed at number eight on the iTunes Alternative chart and has been one of the top Shazam-ed songs in Los Angeles for the past three months. 

The band covers a variety of genres from rock to reggae and a little bit of everything in between. 

The group has also been selling out dates on the west coast, before joining New Politics and Bad Suns starting in October. 

SomeKindaWonderful is : Matt Gibson (guitar), Steve Basil (keyboard), Jordy Towers (lead singer / lyrics), Ben Schigel (drums) and Sarah Dyer (backing vocals / percussion).

The band released their self-titled Downtown Records/White Clover Records on June 23, 2014 debuting in the top 10 on the Heatseekers Chart. 
Tickets for Friday’s show are $8. It starts at 7:30 p.m.
