The “Fast and Furious” cast has had a tough year with the passing of co-star, Paul Walker. However, as the saying goes, “the show must go on.” The cast agreed to continue with its original plans of filming the next movie in the series.
The franchise is set to film the seventh installment this summer, and is looking for extras.
According to Joanie Haenelt, Film Liaison of the Kern County Film Commission, there will be an open casting call Sat., June 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lancaster, CA. It will take place at the Main Event Banquet Hall located at 731 W. Lancaster Blvd.
The production crew is looking for guys and gals between the ages of 18 and 30 of all races, shapes and sizes. Those trying out are also asked to bring a 3×5 photo of themselves, a pen and a “good attitude.” There are no charges or fees of any kind. Though the gig does pay, though there is no word on how much as of yet.
Filming will take place the week of July 7 in the Lancaster/Palmdale area.
Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, and Kurt Russell are just a few of the stars set to star in the film.
