Gaze into the Concert Window and see the future of live online music performance. With real-time exclusive performances from some of the best artists in the country, Concert Window offers a view with a room.
“I’m a musician and wanted to find a way to play shows to friends around the world,” said Dan Gurney, CEO of Concert Window, Inc. “There was no reason to limit my audience to people in a particular venue. I wanted to reach everyone at once.”
Using a laptop, smartphone, tablet or Apple TV, performances on concertwindow.com can be played virtually anywhere. With over 100 exclusive concerts monthly, Concert Window offers a front row seat to viewers.
“I have made online performance a key part of my presence in the music industry. Concert Window is great because it bridges the gap between artist and distant listener,” said folk-rock artist, Zack Galanis.
Concertwindow.com is an invaluable resource for both prominent and upcoming musicians. Artists from Ray Manzarek of The Doors and Galanis to Bela Fleck and The Album Leaf have connected with both local and international fans from around the world with just a click.
“We are growing quickly, having increased revenue 5x over the past several months. We are rolling out a new homepage very soon and are continually improving the experience for both fans and artists,” said Gurney.
The music industry is a hard industry to financially excel in. Here is where Concert Window steps up to the plate. Their online ticketing platform allows customers to purchase tickets in advance or on the day of the show. On top of that, the artist receives two-thirds of ticket, tip and subscription profits.
“I knew there must be a way to help musicians earn money via the Internet, and so the idea of live streaming concerts occurred to me. At the time, 2010, nobody was doing this,” said Gurney.
Local artists such as the Jay Smith Group have utilized Concert Window.
“I think that it allows a group the ability to connect with fans even more than YouTube simply because they are able to request music that we might not ordinarily play as well as ask questions that we might not normally get asked,” said Jay Smith, 30, a music education major at California State University, Bakersfield.

For the Jay Smith Group, Concert Window connects music, community and family.
“It’s really cool for me though because my parents live in Fresno so it allows them to see me live more often,” Said Smith. Our drummer, Cesareo Garasa, has a daughter that lives out of state so she’s able to see her dad play more frequently as well. So for us, it’s not just about the fans, it’s also a way to connect with our family.”
