Agricultural farm workers have the opportunity to receive a free vaccination against COVID-19 at the Forty Acres in Delano. The address for the vaccination site is 30168 Garces Highway, and is open Saturday March 13 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday March 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  Jennifer Self, public information officer at CSUB, sent out an email on March 9 informing the university of the vaccination site. The United Farm Workers, the Cesar Chavez Foundation, the UFW Foundation and the Kern County Latino COVID-19 Task Force, partnered with County of Kern and Kern Medical Center to provide 1,100 vaccinations free of charge.
