On Thursday, March 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. CSU Bakersfield will host a Virtual Spring Career Expo via Handshake. Those who are interested in attending can register via Handshake or contact The Center for Career Education and Community Engagement (CECE) and/or the Division of Student Affairs for further questions.  

  The event invites students from all majors to attend, as there will be representatives from various industries to give information about different jobs and internship opportunities, and to answer questions from students. On the day of the fair, students will not receive a link, instead they must log into their Handshake profile and search for their session. Employers will give students recommendations based on their Handshake profile. 

  Students and alumni are encouraged to interact with employers via video, audio, or chat. There is an option to schedule a one-on-one session with an employer for up to 10 minutes. This can be scheduled in advance or after a group session. There will also be up to eight group sessions with up to 50 students.
