With day drinking becoming the new stay-at-home trend, people have been taking to the internet to find the best ways to make their favorite drinks at home. While I don’t drink often, I couldn’t pass up a chance to experiment at least a little. Armed with a bottle of vanilla bean wine, I found myself with a heavenly peanut butter chocolate chip milkshake. Whether you customize the drink or follow the recipe below, these milkshakes are perfect for those summer movie nights at home.

Yield: 10 ounces

Blend time: 2 minutes

Ingredients:

4 ounces Petit Vanilla Bean wine, chilled

4 generous scoops of chocolate chip ice cream

½ cup creamy peanut butter of choice

1 tablespoon chocolate chips

Alcohol ratio tip: For every additional ounce of wine used, be sure to add an extra scoop of ice cream and teaspoon of peanut butter.

The wine is available at Aldi’s for $6.99.

Directions:

Add 2 ounces of the wine, 2 large scoops of ice cream, and all of the peanut butter to a blender or NutriBullet.

Blend the ingredients until the mix begins to reach the desired consistency. Continue to add the remaining ice cream and wine as you go.

If you blend the shake until it reaches an undesired thin consistency, don’t fret. Add ½ scoop of ice cream and 1 teaspoon worth of peanut butter until it reaches the right thickness.

Pour the shake into the glass(es), and enjoy. This drink is perfect on its own, or paired with toppings such as chocolate syrup and whipped cream!
