If you were walking through campus yesterday, wondering why there were over a 100 students lined up, it’s Homecoming Week. Festivities began Monday afternoon with a free BBQ Kickoff.
Students were given the opportunity to speak with the 2019 Homecoming Court. Voting ends Wednesday at 12am. The information on how to vote is sent out to everyone’s school email. In the email you will find this link to Begin Voting.
Students were provided with free food: burgers, veggie burgers, chips, condiments and more. While the event took place, the homecoming court introduced themselves and let the students know what their favorite thing was about being at CSUB.
Voting is open until tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb. 20) night. Voting ends at midnight.
Homecoming court finalists will be announced at Thursday’s pep rally and lip sync battle at 6 p.m. in the Icardo Center.
The winners will be announced at halftime during the CSU Bakersfield men’s homecoming game this Saturday, Feb. 23 beginning at 7 p.m in Icardo.
