The community celebrated the legacy of one of the most influential Hispanic leaders by holding various events to honor Cesar Chavez on Friday, March 31.
His birthday was also celebrated with the inaugural Cesar Chavez Legacy Breakfast in Bakersfield and the Naturalization Ceremony at the grounds of the Cesar E. Chavez National Monument in Keene.
