From full to fuller, the Tanner family is back after 21 years with new episodes, finally.
From the first appearance of the original cast member Danny Tanner to Stephanie’s catchphrase ‘how rude’ I was immediately hooked.
I love the fact that the show has a few side-by-side moments of both the original series and the current. Plus a lot of the scenes you could connect to past episodes.
Just one instance would be when DJ was forced to share her room with Stephanie when Joey and Jesse moved in. In “Fuller House”, DJ’s son is made to move into his brother’s room when Stephanie, Kimmy and her daughter move in.
For the most part the series is similar to “Full House”. Instead of Jesse and Joey helping Danny raise his three daughters, it’s Stephanie and Kimmy helping DJ raise her three boys.
The original cast is just as quirky and funny as they were before. I’m usually not one for reboots or spinoffs but I have to admit “Fuller House” is pretty good.
Even the younger cast is somewhat good . Jesse and Becky’s two twin sons were entertaining to watch because they were only babies when the series ended and now they’re in college.
The only thing that could have been added to the series to complete my happiness would be Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen reviving their old role as Michelle Tanner.
Not being Netflix educated, I wasn’t aware that the whole season would be available to watch. I have talked with friends and classmates who were excited for the series to come out. Since midnight, viewers have logged onto Netflix to watch the series.
Due to the fact I’m out of date with not having a Netflix, I had to wait to watch it at a friend’s house.
“I stayed up till 12 to see ‘Fuller House’,” Natalie Ruiz said “It’s not the original but I love it.”
Out of the whole cast I’m still in love with Stephanie who is kind of the new Jesse of the group, whereas DJ is the new Danny and Kimmy is the new Joey.
And for the true full house fans the Tanner’s family dog Comet lives on. DJ’s son raises one of Comet’s offspring.
I would love to see a second season of the series. It’s not the original series which will remain my favorite, but it comes close to perfection. It definitely beats out the “Boy Meets World” spinoff, so it must be doing something right.
